Job Description Cookbook author is looking for an NYC-based intern to help with a cookbook and other food writing-related duties for about 10 hours per week. Most of the internship is virtual but sometimes meetings in person will be required to help test recipes or visit restaurants. Or, you may need to help track down ingredients. You'll gain lots of experience for those interested in food writing as a career.

Duties required:

• Researching of recipes and restaurants; compiling all the info into spreadsheets.
• Typing up of recipe testing notes from author
• Light recipe editing (can teach how to do this)
• Contacting restaurants to set up interviews appointments.
• Helping research photo options and possible touching up of photos.
• Helping coordinate recipe testing with testers.
• Some other administrative duties.
• If desired, recipe testing.
• If desired, accompanying to restaurants to help with reviewing.
