About the Job:
We are seeking a local buyer to procure and manage inventory for our warehouse that serves the greater Houston area. You will be handling all the variables inventory maintenance entails including. . .

• Ordering local and non-local products
• Maintaining margins
• Updating products on our website and maintaining website product accuracy
• Assembly of our signature local box and weekly farmstead
• Communicating and collaborating with warehouse team regarding product storage, receiving and inventory levels
• Sourcing local vendors with exciting new items
• Creating and sustaining positive vendor relationships

Qualifications desired:

• Competent with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with inventory software and QuickBooks a plus

Hours for this position are non-traditional and will vary. They are scheduled around the orders that need to be placed and the tasks that need to be completed.

This will be a full-time, W-2 position with the opportunity to earn benefits that include life/dental/health and paid time off. Pay and compensation package will be based on experience but all team members get fair portions of FREE organic produce, dairy, meats, and breads that don't get sold and a substantial discount on all Greenling products.
