Job description

The Brooklyn Brewery is looking for an experienced marketer with excellent writing & web publishing skills. Adobe Suite and video production abilities are big plusses. Qualified candidates will be accustomed to taking the lead on multiple projects of various stripes at the same time. This position reports to the Marketing Director.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Manage BB blog: report on news, events, products and beer culture; recruit blog partners & contributors; maintain an editorial calendar
• Manage BB website, creating, editing and updating content
• Publish two monthly newsletters+ Proof packaging and POS materials, and assist with general proofing, editing, copywriting as needed
• Create various marketing materials: signs, sell sheets, menus, invites, website/newsletter graphics
• Manage interns
• Create and/or project manage original video content
• Photograph events
• Engage in social media
• Assist at events

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of marketing experience
• Excellent writing skills and a good sense of humor
• Appreciation for the Brooklyn brand and its place in the industry
• Passion for beer and food
• A deep knowledge of pop culture
• Ability to generate original ideas
• Proficiency with Wordpress, Photoshop and normal web publishing backends
