Job description
Salt Water Farm (www.saltwaterfarm.com), a nationally acclaimed cooking school located on the coast of Maine operates a Cafe and Marketplace in picturesque Rockport Harbor, seving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Salt Water Farm is know for its simply stated food, native to its region. Menu is fixedand served family style and will change daily depening on availability. Everything will be made from scratch with high quality ingredients. The cafe seats 50 people and will be very busy in the summer and fall, quieter in the winter months and closed in January, February and March for dinner.
We ask that canidates have at least three years experience working in a professional kitchen, are enthusiastic about the misison of the restaurant, can assist in or teach cooking classes, are efficient at production and can butcher large cuts of meat and fabricate fish.
We want to bring on staff who are passionate about the sustainable consumption of food and excited about taking advantage of all that Maine has to offer.
