Cissé Trading Company: Director of Sales
A bit about us: Cissé (pronounced "see-say") is a new line of gourmet, traceable baking and hot cocoa mixes sold through grocery stores, gourmet retailers, and coffee shops. Our gourmet products offer a fully transparent supply chain to consumers and combine two high-value attributes – premium quality ingredients and a positive social impact. Cissé has just launched in key retailers including Whole Foods, Fairway, Amazon.
A bit about you: Ideally you have worked 3-5 years in a sales role within the packaged foods industry. Experience with a high growth food or beverage business existing relationships, and a proven track record in building sales are a plus. Or you have been in management consulting or another relevant field in a sales role. You are fearless, a born salesperson and like to travel. You are self-motivated, anticipatory, and take initiative.
The nitty gritty:

Reassess current sales plan for and create achievable revenue targets.

Maintain and expand the list of targeted retailers and meet all category review deadlines.

Be responsible for direct outreach and pitching to new retailers (creation of PowerPoint presentation with promos and other support).

Negotiate and implements introductory and ongoing promotions.

Manage broker relationships.

Create and update sales materials as needed (sell sheets, point of sale materials).

Analyze sales data and proactively seek new, cost efficient ways to drive new sales.

Manage a database of competitors and analyze relevant trends.

Create and maintain sales budgets.
**Salary commensurate with experience in addition to quarterly bonus based on performance/metrics/sales goals. Lots of brownies, too! **
