Eataly is the largest artisanal Italian food and wine marketplace in the world. At 42,500 square feet, in the heart of the Flatiron district, Eataly provides the unique opportunity for customers to shop, eat and learn. A collaboration between Mario Batali, Joe and Lidia Bastianich and Eataly founder, Oscar Farinetti, Eataly has seven eateries offering pizza, pasta, meat, fish, vegetables, panini, gelato, pastries, coffee and an upcoming beer garden. The market sells the same quality products used by our chefs; cured meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, handmade pasta , pastries, coffee and tea, as well as dried pastas, sauces and olive oil. A cooking school, bookstore and housewares section makes it even easier to bring Italy to your home.
Eataly is looking for Experienced Mozzarella Makers for its mozzarella bar.
Details of the positions:
•Salary: commensurate with experience
•Benefits: medical and dental for full-time employees
•Schedule: full-time, 40 hours per week, weekends and holidays required. Eataly will be open from 10AM – 11PM
Candidates must possess all of the following criteria:
• MOZZARELLA MAKER: extensive experience in ITALIAN mozzarella-making
• Passionate about Italian food and Slow Food; Italian fluency a plus
