Hi folks, My name is Liz Thorpe and I'm a 10 year veteran of the cheese industry and author of The Cheese Chronicles. I'm seeking a PT (5ish hours a week) personal assistant to collaborate and develop a social media (twitter, instagram, pinterest) and web plan for me and then execute it!
You are: tech savvy, have basic programming abilities, and strong design ideas and a proven track record of building a social media following. You are organized, a self-starter and work well independently. You have great ideas and aren't just looking for a list of tasks to check off. You are a good writer, enjoy writing and have a wry sense of humor. Your schedule is flexible enough to meet 2-4 times a month in person. You think it would be fun to work with a cheese expert, ideally you know about cheese (but at the very least you want to learn).
I am: an old dinosaur who doesn't get all this Internet stuff :) but values new ways of communicating. I am a new mom. I am well connected in, and knowledgeable about, the cheese and specialty food worlds and would love to be a mentor/asset to someone looking to do more in this industry.
