Ice Cream Maker Transition Lab

Here's where it gets revolutionary: Genevieve's ice cream was a creation of Transition Lab - a school that trains people like you to build a resilient future. We have a seven month curriculum that was the winner of MIT's CoLab Contest for the best "Local Solution". Out of 40 entries worldwide, Transition Lab's model won both the judge's and popular award for being the most accessible, viable, and replicable approach for reducing CO2 emissions and building a resilient future. We figure that part of building a better world is making ice cream and in our 2014 program, we are only accepting 7 students. One of those should be our ice cream maker - don't you think?
The position could work in several ways. One way is that student could pay full tuition ($8,750 for seven months which includes food and housing), and be a co-creator and equal business partner in the ice cream business once they graduate. The second option is that the student could pay partial tuition and "intern" with the ice cream business to help us make it profitable. Essentially in this option, you'd be paying a share of your tuition through your energy and profits generated by the ice cream business. So if you want the chance to have zero dollar rent, do what you love, build a better future, and make ice cream on the side - get in touch.
