Working in our Professional/Trade business as a Publicist, you will execute publicity activities for assigned trade product to increase visibility of Wiley books and authors in both traditional and new media. You will be responsible for maximizing sales and achieving group sales objectives. You will also handle what are deemed to be the special projects within the cooking/lifestyle categories in Professional/Trade group.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of progressive publicity experience.
• Experience working with the food and lifestyle media.
• Cooking/Crafts experience preferred.
• Prior publishing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of media and contract methods such as release writing, review copy distribution and author publicity touring.
• Knowledge of computer software applications.
• Knowledge and experience with social media.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
