About OMilk:
OMilk is the first line of high quality almond milk & cashew milk. Made from organic ingredients, without any of the stabilizers or preservatives found in other brands, OMilk is a scrumptious, healthful and totally natural way of getting your milk fix without the dairy. Hand-crafted in Brooklyn, in small batches with all-natural ingredients, and available at stores such as Whole Foods, Dean & Deluca, and Union Market.

About the Position:
The Production team is responsible for producing OMilk's handmade nut milks. Job functions range from sanitizing and labeling bottles, prepping ingredients, producing milks, and cleaning.  We're looking for someone interested in growing with a rapidly expanding food startup, so even more than a glowing resume we would like you to tell us why you're the right fit forour team.

Qualifications:The ideal candidate has an exceptional eye for detail, works super clean, likes to do many different tasks in a day, is proactive, handy, organized, cares about food and quality and cleanliness: A "do whatever it takes" mentality. Honesty, loyalty and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems is a must, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to unexpected tasks and challenges. Good communication skills don't hurt either.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Reliable transportation to East Williamsburg necessary
  • Comfortable doing an ooccasional in-store demo
  • Food handler's license highly preferred   
  • Appreciation of double- or even triple-entendres a plus

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 36-40 hours per week, usually 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Hours may fluctuate daily and weekly based on Company needs.

Compensation: $14/hour
