The Marketing & Community Relations Specialist will be responsible for all in-store and community related marketing duties. They build a connection with our Whole Foods Market Team Members and customers as well as the greater Omaha community.
DUTIES:

Serve as the local ambassador for Whole Foods Market brand and objectives.

Implement and fully support Global, Regional, and Store programs.

Work with Store Leadership to create and execute all store promotional and marketing programs, and communicate to customers and Team Members.

Organize, promote, and execute targeted in-store events, classes, and tours; schedule monthly events calendar.

Act as a continuous source of creative ideas and solutions to increase store sales through marketing strategies and promotional opportunities.

Foster relationships and establish win-win partnerships with local charities and community groups.

Manage store donation programs.

Responsible for all store-level digital marketing and copywriting.

Handle store-level media relations, acting as store spokesperson and community representative.

Execute signage, promotional materials, and seasonal décor for store marketing needs.

Maintain and manage store Marketing budgets.

Follow food safety, cleaning, and maintenance procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:

Basic knowledge of marketing principles and grassroots community relations.

Some event planning and management experience preferred.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Patience, tact, and diplomacy.

Enthusiasm, creativity and an outgoing demeanor.

Self-motivated.

Knowledge of WFM culture, Core Values, and products.

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights and weekends as required.
