Natural Gourmet Institute, the leader in health supportive culinary education is looking for an intelligent, energetic, and dedicated Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to innovative, intelligent and conscious food education. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Communications on a variety of in-house marketing, digital media and communications tasks.

Responsibilities:

Marketing

• Create and implement innovative and energetic marketing plans for program outreach
  
• Assist with the creation of marketing collateral
  
• Prepare thorough and organized marketing reports

Digital Media

Drive brand awareness through brilliant content development

• Work with digital partners to strengthen online presence
• Assist with analysis of digital campaign performance

Communications

• Assist with press release development and distribution
• Monitor and organize press pickup
• Monitor press alerts and manage inbound requests

Events

• Be an enthusiastic brand ambassador at community events
• Assist with the setup and execution of monthly open house
• Create, manage and analyze online events pages and registration
• Assist with other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• 0-1 years experience (internships ok)
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
• Knowledgeable and passionate about the culinary, food & health industries
• Self-starter with excellent ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Demonstrated proficiency using top social media networks
• Creative thinker who pushes the envelope
• Interest in up-and-coming digital platforms
• Exceptional writing skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of InDesign and photography skills a plus

Job Specifics:

• Start date: TBD
• Base Salary: commensurate with experience
• Healthcare: Full coverage (100% paid by NGI). You may add family members per bi-weekly paycheck deduction. Premium payments based on current coverage rates
