Production:
You’ll oversee day-to-day activities in the kitchen including ordering and receiving food deliveries, quality control, managing the preparation, portioning and packaging of ingredients.
Team Building:
You’ll hire, train and develop employees while creating a productive team.
Capacity Building:
You'll analyze kitchen performance and build product and process improvements.
Requirements:
• Kitchen leadership experience
• DOH Certification and familiarity with Ag and Markets regulations
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Resourceful
• Comfortable in fast paced, growing and changing environment
• Ability to work independently
Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Prepare daily production list
• Place food and supply orders receive and store food supplies, ensure freshness
• Manage part-time kitchen staff
• Hire, train and manage new employees over time
• Clean and inspect equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation
• Prepare a variety of foods per recipe instructions, following methods & procedures to produce a standard product
• Follow all guidelines and procedures as outlined in the health and safety policy manual
