Job Description
Hudson & Charles is a nose to tail sustainable butcher shop located in NYC's West Village. We are a new butcher shop that opened December 28th. We are comitted to a sustainable philosophy and whole animal utilization. Our animals arrive to our shop whole (lamb), split (pig) or quarted (beef), all from local family owned and run farms in New York State. Our farmers raise thier animlas antibiotic free, hormone free and steroid free.
We are looking for one PT counter person, to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday (Saturday's Shift is at a food fair, and Sunday is in the shop)
Knowledge of cooking protein and the ability to convey that knowledge to our customer is a major component to our customer service.
We have had great community response and are looking for the right people to grow with us. It doesn't hurt to have a sense of humor, a good attitude and be to be highly motivated and curious. Compensation this position is How to apply
