POSITION OVERVIEW
A full-time web writer who can liaise with O, the Oprah Magazine Food (and to lesser extent, home) department and then create compelling original online content for Oprah.com. Must pay rigorous attention to details and accuracy. Please include cover letter.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep abreast of food (and home) news of interest to our audience
• Conceive and write set number of food and home blog posts and articles per day/week
• Liaise with O Magazine’s food and home dept
• Create compelling and clickable display copy
• Manage multiple deadlines
• Creatively repurpose existing content for use in new ways

REQUIRED

• 3 years experience in a deadline driven media environment, covering food
• Excellent copy-writing skills; smart, accurate, voicey (and not too earnest).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices, a plus Experience in daily site programming or at a daily newspaper a plus
• Capable of generating ideas
