Job Description Katherine Anne Confections is a micro-batch confectioner & chocolatier, creating truffles, caramels, and marshmallows completely from scratch with local, seasonal, and/or organic ingredients. We have a small cafe open 6 days a week, serving drinking chocolate and select pastries, as well as our seasonal and limited-edition flavors.

We are looking for cool people to sell chocolate, serve coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and also work in production Sunday, Monday & Tuesday at our Logan Square confiserie.

In general, you will be be a fun and friendly face for our daily customers. You must be personable and charismatic, and ready to interact with customers on a daily basis. You need to be able to multitask and work quickly under pressure. You should be able to lift 50 pounds, and be neat, clean, and organized. In addition, you should be able to take the initiative to make our customers happy.

We have an awesome team of food-loving people, so you should fit right in. We are a sustainable company, focusing on local and organic. We compost & grow our own herbs.

You will work Sun, Mon & Tue 9am 'til done (anywhere from 3-9pm) and 1-3 other days - weekends are a must. 30-40/week. $10-$12/hour depending on experience, plus lots of chocolate. Health insurance is available.

Industry experience is preferred, however passionate food lovers will be considered.
