Job Description
The ideal candidate will have managerial experience working with a network of distributors, suppliers of various sizes and an understanding of transportation and logistics. Our Purchasing Manager leads purchasing initiatives and distribution network to meet the goals of the company. Responsible for Profitable Supply Chain Practices and Proactive Quality Assurance Measures.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Ensure purchasing is planned and coordinated to sustain current regions and set up for expansion into new US regions through the strategic development of local and regional suppliers, which include growers, producers, manufacturers and/or vendors.
2.Ensure the distribution and logistics of suppliers and products are being effectively managed to optimize costs and inventory levels.
3. Ensure documentation and contract management of all products are being created, executed, maintained and communicated to internal and external partners.
4.Ensure stores and departments have the information and tools necessary to effectively order, properly stock and always maintain adequate inventory levels.

Qualifications:
- Supply Chain degree a plus
- 5+ years in multi-unit restaurant purchasing or supply chain department
- 3+ years managing employees
- Distributor or distribution management a plus
