Candidates must:
- Be an exceptional people person with a meticulous, kind and calm manager style
- Be passionate about supporting local foods and running a sustainable business
- Be experienced in and competent at managing bar service and liquor controls
- Have strong culinary and kitchen management skills
- Have strong front of the house knowledge and skills
- Be able and willing to work as a cook/burrito maker/bartender etc.
Duties will include overseeing all front and back of the house operations including;
- Scheduling- hiring-firing-staff management and development
- Cooking/serving
- Food quality control
- Cost controls
- Bar service development and Ambiance development
- Ordering and inventory
- Development of live music and other events
- Organizing sales and POS information for accountant
- POS management- (Aloha system)
- Cash controls
- PR- management- media outreach, website, social media, etc,
- Working mixed hrs. including some late nights (we are open until 1am and 2am on weekends)
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
