We are looking for someone with impeccable customer service skills, a sunny and gracious attitude and a passion for food and drink to lead and inspire our team on the weekends.
The weekend Maitre d' will oversee all Front of House operations, including:
- Conduct pre-shift staff meetings and manage staff
- Ensure clear and consistent communications between front and back of house
- Oversee seating, timing and general flow between front and back of house
- Ensure positive guest experience and handle all customer service; address complaints and issues
- Serve as problem solver; troubleshoot technical problems and handle any emergencies
- Maintain accuracy on menus and in POS system; handle daily financial close out
- Maintain consistency with company mission in all aspects of our restaurant operation.
The Green Table is a busy, fast-paced restaurant committed to local/seasonal sourcing, quality customer service and excellence in our food.
The Green Table is part of The Cleaver Co., a large scale catering and event planning business.
Candidates must have prior restaurant management experience, including excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must have experience with Aloha POS. NYC Food Handlers Certificate strongly preferred.
