Job Description The Jerky Master Apprentice will work directly with our Jerky Master in our Brooklyn, NY kitchen, learning the secret recipes and processes that produce the world’s best vegan jerky.  Scheduling for this position is somewhat flexible, but you must be available at least 2 (and ideally 4 or 5) mornings a week to come work in the kitchen near the Morgan L subway stop in Bushwick. Though this job is primarily kitchen based, there will be some opportunity for getting involved in the business end for those interested.

This will initially be an unpaid position with a small stipend.  No previous experience is necessary, but commercial kitchen experience and/or a NYC food handlers permit is a plus.  Cocoburg will pay for acquiring a NYC food handlers permit for those who don’t have one.
