Position
Nuchas is seeking an Accounting & Operations Associate to work closely with the company's finance and operations management team. This role provides the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a young, fast growing company and assist with crafting internal organizational controls and best practices.
Our ideal candidate will bring a high level of energy, excellent attention to detail, and creativity to this role in addition to their technical qualifications and experience. This role is expected to be full-time and will operate out of the company's facility in Union City, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Manage all Accounts Receivable functions across multiple company divisions, including daily cash review, invoicing, tracking receivables, and allocating revenue by division
- Manage all Accounts Payable functions across multiple company divisions, including creating purchasing orders, reviewing incoming bills, allocating expenses into cost centers, and processing checks for payment
- Support payroll processing service with timely provision of employee data
- Monitor office and kitchen supply levels and reorder as necessary with management authorization
- Create internal systems to validate kitchen purchasing from external suppliers and across company divisions
- Tag and monitor fixed assets; maintain records to support annual depreciation
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of all company accounts ensuring accuracy of inter-company transactions
- Assemble information for company CPA for quarterly and annual tax remittance
- Support company CFO with monitoring and reporting on company operations in accordance with annual budget
- Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise, particularly the Manufacturing & Wholesale modules
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping & accounting operations, CPA a plus but not required
- Detail oriented with excellent record keeping and organizational skills
- Able to work on multiple projects concurrently and creatively
