Mast Brothers is a pioneering bean-to-bar chocolate making company founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2007. We source cacao beans from around the world, roasting and grinding in small batches to create truly handmade chocolate that celebrates the unique qualities of each cacao origin.
We are looking for dedicated, passionate, and personable people to work in our factory store on North 3rd Street, which is open seven days a week. Our Retail Associates are expected to provide superior hospitality and to educate our customers on the intricacies and complexities of chocolate making.
Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Fostering an unequivocally welcoming and educational environment for our guests as well as employees.
- Leading regular tours of our factory for the public after completing our training and educational programs.
- Help customers make selections by building confidence and offering suggestions and opinions.
- Process payments by ringing purchases and running credit card and cash payments.
- Maintain proper displays and merchandising.
- General opening, closing, and sidework duties, including cleaning, stocking, and display setup.
- Upbeat, personable disposition with a passion for craft chocolate and enthusiasm for learning new things.
- Professional, college, or culinary school degree.
- Two years of experience in the food industry is preferred. Retail sales/customer service background (especially food-related) helps, too.
- Dependable, motivated team player who will work well with both our staff and customers.
