Job Description Cowgirl Creamery is looking for an experienced individual to manage our specialty food shop in Point Reyes Station!  

We specialize in artisan cheese, wine, beer and prepared foods. We promote sustainable artisan production through educational events, promotions, sampling and sales. We invite you to join our team of hard working cheesemakers, cheesemongers and sellers of the finest hand made artisan cheese in the country. 

Job purpose: Responsible for growing sales, managing staff, directing the smooth, clean, friendly and efficient operation of the shop. Must achieve financial targets and deliver bottom line results.  

Skill Prerequisites:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience with costing and finance, ability to manage cash, ability to control costs
Purchasing, creative marketing and merchandizing skills Recruiting and training of staff, - building a high performance team
Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem solving abilitiesPrevious experience in prepared foods and/or retail  

This is a full time, hands on job requiring weekend and holiday availability.
