The Phoenicia Diner is expanding its service and we are seeking experienced and reliable kitchen staff for our 80-seat restaurant.
We seek a full-time Lead Cook and a full time Line Cook to join our team! Our menu is casual but high-quality with mostly local ingredients. We have a friendly environment with a team who cares about preparing consistently great food on a timely basis. Experience required along with a good work ethic. Must be able to work well alone and with a team in a fast-paced environment. Lead Cook must be motivated, able to supervise and communicate well. Duties for Lead and Line Cooks include, but are not limited to, maintaining high quality standards in preparation, plate presentation, portion control, timeliness and cleanliness.
Located on busy and scenic Route 28, this renovated vintage diner is frequented by outdoor enthusiasts, vacationers, weekenders, and full-time residents alike. The Diner brings a new source of good food to the area, and needs you to help it succeed.
We have been written up in many major publications and are poised for rapid growth this year.

Requirements:
Weekend and weekday availability
POS experience a PLUS!!!

Job responsibilities include:
- Producing a consistent breakfast, lunch and dinner menu
- Help update and improve standards in the kitchen
- Food preparation
