Job Description We are looking to hire a Social Media Manager for Empellon that also assists the chef/owners (Alex Stupak) of our expanding restaurant group with the following: 

• Public Relations & Communications.
• General admin, scheduling, travel plans, etc.
• Coordination of events, upcoming book tours, special promotions, etc.
• Website management and other marketing initiatives.

This position is full-time with room for growth within our organization. Applicants should be determined, love food & beverage, and have a passion for restaurants and eating out. Applicants should also have a knowledge on the chef and media landscape in NYC. 

The backbone of this role is being a savvy and knowledgeable Social Media user that is highly motivated with experience and passion for designing and implementing content strategy, creating relevant content, blogging, community participation and leadership. This person will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives, including developing and managing viral marketing campaigns, creating and supervising high-profile channel accounts, and integrating interactive media into the overall business strategy. Other duties may include search engine optimization, search engine marketing integration, monitoring and analysis of social media trends and their impact on our brand. The right candidate will have a degree in communications, marketing or a related field, will enjoy social networking, and will always look for the latest trends online in the digital and social media space. 

We have 3 restaurants and are expanding quickly. You will learn a tremendous amount by working directly with the two operating owners of the company. This is a great opportunity as you can help shape the future and brand-image of our company. This role can be as big as you want it to be.
