Job Description The Opportunity: Luke's Lobster is seeking a Catering Coordinator local to the Philadelphia area to help manage day-to-day operations and expand our overall catering presence. We're looking for a smart, hardworking, enthusiastic Catering Coordinator to work directly with management to support the Philly region. While experience is preferred, we place a strong emphasis on someone that is willing to bring a unique and creative perspective to the position and are willing to train the right people.

Job Description: In addition to having applicable work experience and/or academic background, the position will call for a leader that has exceptional organizational and communication skills. Types of events catered range from weddings to product launches. In addition to private catered events, you will manage vending at a number of outdoor markets and participate in various industry events across the Philly area.

Responsibilities include:
  • Organize and respond to day-to day call-ins and email requests for catering and corporate orders
  • Manage inventory and train new catering teammates
  • Source new channels to develop the corporate order customer database
  • Maintain and update the corporate order sales and customer database
  • Be the on-site manager for catering events
  • Play a large part and act as a support to the region on a store level by working at the restaurants and covering store shifts, as well assisting GMs with tasks
  • Perform other tasks as necessary to play a meaningful role in the growth and diversification of the catering business alongside the director
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License***
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Excellent email and phone communication skills
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work night and weekend events
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Proven ability to approach problems in a creative way, and willing to tackle any task at hand
  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
