Job Description Key Account Manager 

BrightFarms is adding a Key Account Manager to its team.  Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Development, the Key Account Manager will support key customers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The Key Account Manager will work directly with clients to forecast, execute and monitor weekly sales orders. Responsibilities will also include field level selling and relationship management. Frequent interaction at the store level and the ability to create strong and trusted relationships with produce managers will be a key success driver in this role. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • To provide fanatical customer service – always!
  • Lead day-to-day relationships with clients in regards to order processing, sell-through rates and order/delivery logistics.
  • Coordinate weekly forecasts with greenhouse production teams, communicate to clients and proactively manage orders to ensure 100% of greenhouse volume is sold through to client partners on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain excellent store level relationships at client partners.
  • Analyze and report weekly sales trends to BrightFarms leadership team.
  • Partner with greenhouse production teams to ensure optimal planting and harvesting aligned with customer needs.
Experience of Candidates 
Candidates for the Executive Assistant position will be judged on how they match up with the following criteria: 

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years selling and customer management experience (ideally in the supermarket channel)
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, customers and external partners
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point) and Social Media web platforms
Location/Travel
  • Philadelphia or Wash DC metro areas
  • Frequent travel to customers/stores in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region required
