Responsibilities:
- Work with co-founders to generate marketing and sales strategies
- Develop and manage ongoing promotions for the wine bar
- Generate online ad campaigns, group-targeted newsletters, and wine bar collateral that support marketing efforts
- Manage company loyalty program
- Coordinate and attend off-site marketing sponsorship and tasting events
- Manage social media coordinator
- Work with PR company to ensure consistent brand messaging and press coverage
- Coordinate with freelance graphic designer to create collateral materials
- Generate monthly metric based reports displaying marketing performance
- Build and manage online wine club
- Submit wines for reviews and competitions
- Make regular updates to website
- Manage donation requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or marketing
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing
- Must have valid driver’s license and be comfortable with driving in New York City
- Experience in wine or hospitality related industry a plus
- Must be proficient with MailChimp, including building newsletters and list management (groups, segmentation)
- Experience maintaining content on Wordpress platform
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook advertising, and Google AdWords
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent follow through skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
