Overview

House Kombucha is an artisanal beverage company that brews and bottles kombucha, a probiotic health tonic made from fermented tea. Founded in 2009, House Kombucha is committed to offering the most refreshing raw kombucha to the Bay Area and beyond! Exciting opportunities for growth and advancement are possible, depending on job performance and tenure. The Field Delivery & Sales Rep works alongside with and reports to the Lead Sales Coordinator. Additional oversight and regular reviews are given by the Chief of Operations.

Primary Duties
  • Delivering product to self-delivered accounts, stocking shelves, and posting promo signage/materials
  • Assessing new account prospects, conducting product tastings, and pitching product to buyers
  • Acquiring new accounts, especially at high-volume, high-profile locations
  • Tracking product performance, assessing and delivering optimal product mix to accounts
  • Ensuring optimal product placement “on the shelves” and on-tap
  • Maximizing sales among our existing account base of groceries, bars, cafes, and office customers
  • Building strong “in-field” relationships with buyers/store managers, and keeping contact database up-to-date
Additional Duties
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized office and work environment
  • Filing, invoicing, customer service/account communications, and other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Professional “go-getter” with a positive attitude and dependable work ethic
  • At least three (3) years of prior sales experience, ideally in the food and beverage space
  • Excellent communicator with confident “people skills”
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, GMail, and GoogleDocs, or similar platforms
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds during transport and delivery of cases and kegs
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree degree preferred, but not required
  • Car transportation preferred, but not required
Schedule and Compensation

Mondays (in-office), 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM + Wednesdays & Fridays in Field (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) = 24 hours a week
  • Starting base wage of $17.00/hour + quarterly bonus opportunities depending on performance
  • After 3-month training period, opportunity for merit increase (w/possible increase in hours), plus enrollment in sick pay, holiday pay, and year-end profit-sharing/bonus programs
  • After one year period, opportunity for review and additional wage increase with vacation days
