FINE & RAW is a fresh, small, Brooklyn based company that believes the future is beautiful. Our mission is to save the world through silliness and chocolate! We craft fine artisan chocolate, take our work seriously and try not to take ourselves too seriously.  

We are currently seeking a new Kitchen Manager to take our already incredible chocolate program into the next level as we grow.  This is a unique chance for a motivated individual with an interest in the ins and outs of confectionery production to develop a truly beautiful skill set and bring our team with you for the chocolate ride.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all FINE & RAW chocolate recipes
• Craft weekly employee schedule
• Craft weekly kitchen and manufacturing schedule
• Take weekly chocolate back stock inventory
• Meet expected pars each week
• Delegate daily kitchen work to staff
• Do a weekly ingredient inventory
• Create and maintain a pristine working space
• Insert special orders into production when necessary
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Be part of the collaborative recipe making process
• Understand the Manufacturing Department’s needs
• Ensure product quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years kitchen management experience
• Proven effective management skills
• Fluency in Spanish language strongly preferred
• Excitement about chocolate experimentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent record keeping skills
• Effective communicator
• Consistent, demonstrated punctuality.
• Capable of random acts of magic.
• Energetic, organized and professional.
• Commitment to producing high–quality product and a desire to see continuous improvement.
