Hardworking, self starters. Farm and kitchen work is physical and intense and summer hours are long. We love to work with people passionate about food and farming who are committed to promoting a local sustainable food system as well as people who are invested in our mission and helping us grow.
We want to foster a great working environment, we are very hands on, invite new ideas from everyone and live and breathe this 24/7 so we need/want it to be as fun as possible. A lot of our time is spent talking to visitors and customers so a sociable and friendly manner is essential. A driving license is necessary as well as being able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. Some experience is necessary for this position. It’s going to be a busy time and we need people who can take the initiative and can see what needs to be done and do it.
Actual hours to be agreed with work available between April and October at least. On bread baking days (Thursday-Sunday in the summer) it’s an early start between 5.30am and 6am and we normally finish and close the store around 6pm. This depends on other things going on such as workshops for example. Typically hours a week ahead can be predicted and agreed.

- catering - a growing area of our work.
What you will get:
- a beautiful and inspiring working environment
- a job where your input and ideas can help grow an exciting new business
