Product Responsibilities
- Ensures that products are being labeled, rotated, and stored correctly including directing staff to make any necessary changes
- Provides materials necessary to market new products to the director of marketing
- Insures that products are of the highest quality and find outlet if they does not meet these standards
- Checks par levels and quality of products in sandwich station, barista station, enoteca, and cases
- Oversees and monitors production schedules
- Trains staff on products including tastings
- Required to be Serv Safe certified
- Required to have a valid alcohol beverage service permit + server training class certificate
- Upholds sanitation standards of the market
- Assists health department with any questions in the event of an inspection
- Leads staff in preparation for inspections
- Average 50 hours per week (typically five days per week and ten hours per day)
