Company description Modern Love is coming to Brooklyn! Swanky vegan comfort food from best-selling cookbook author and chef  Isa Chandra Moskowitz. She is returning to her hometown to open her second location. Modern Love Omaha has received a million accolades (Best New Restaurant 2014 Omaha World Herald, Restaurant of The Year 2015 VegNews Magazine) and she is bringing that goodness back home.  Job description We are currently looking for an experienced head chef to work closely with the chef/owner to create and execute our seasonal menu. You will be helping to open the restaurant, sourcing vendors, hiring and training all BOH staff, and putting processes in place. 

Once open, your responsibilities will include running the line, perfecting recipes, plating beautifully (check out our instagram), sourcing local products, and essentially making sure that every plate that leaves the kitchen is 100. Be creative, artistic, organized and have spot-on taste buds.

We do not cut corners here, our cheeses, gnocchi, mayo, butters, breads, etc are all made in-house. So if you think that commercial vegan cheeses taste ok, this may not be the job for you.
