Visit our web site at www.farmonfoundation.org for more information about us. Job description FarmOn Foundation is seeking a full-time (40 hrs./week) Field Manager. The FarmOn! Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization and public charity, was founded in 2011 to reinvigorate a respect for farming and launched the Friends of the Farmer Festival to raise awareness of local food choices and sources creating rural to urban marketplaces in support of sustaining local small-scale family farms. Reporting to the Executive Director and Farm Academy Advisor, the Field Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for a 10-acre market garden, with 5-acres in production and 5-acres in cover crop. 2015 was the first year of field production, The position will be focused on preparing, planting and maintaining fields for late-season vegetable production. In addition, the Field Manager will be working closely with visiting students, campers and kids groups. The ideal candidate will have a background in both small-scale intensive vegetable growing and farm-based education.

 Qualifications: 
  • Farm experience with at least 1 year of management level experience
