Who We Are...
The Farm Effect is a farm-to-fork food truck based out of the Northern Virginia area. It got it's start in May 2015 by brothers Stephen and David. The truck features an exciting and delicious menu sourced from local farms and businesses. The truck travels to local wineries, breweries, fairs and festivals...as well as offers catering for weddings, meetings, and other special events. Individuals who are hard-working, energetic, work well in a team environment, enjoy being around people, able to work with a sense of urgency, and can provide excellent customer service! There are times when the work environment will be very fast-paced, so being able to stay focused and maintain a good attitude is a must. Tasks will include (but not limited to): set up and take down at events, taking orders from customers, prepping and assembling food, clean-up, etc...A passion for good food is a definite plus!
Part Time: $9-$11/hour
Must have weekend and/or weeknight availability.
Full Time: $12-$13/hour
Must be willing to assume a more supervisor/leadership position. i.e. driving the truck to events, stocking items on truck, simple truck maintenance, organizing your crew to be efficient and maintain the highest standards, creating a work environment that is both professional and fun!
