We are looking for a professional who has experience in community development, event coordination and logistics, scheduling, basic sales outreach and social marketing to join our team. This individual will wear many hats and we want someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and throw themselves into the mix to help take our organization to the next level. Being detail-oriented and the ability to multitask in an open, communal environment are crucial for success.

Ideal candidate will have 0-2 years experience.

This role will have five primary focus areas:

Mentorship Coordination: Work with our network of experts to coordinate mentorship and speed coaching sessions

Event Planning & Logistics: Work with the Managing Director to help coordinate and execute incubator events and educational workshops to provide top-notch learning experiences and promote community interaction for our members

Facility Coordination & Scheduling: Administer various scheduling and office-related tasks as needed

Content Creation & General Exposure: Enhance awareness of the incubator by facilitating content creation and social media coordination

Assist with Sales Processes, Intake & Onboarding: Work with the Managing Director to help promote the sales initiatives of the incubator and help get new members onboarded

Candidate must be: 

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Excellent at prioritizing a variety of tasks at once
- Organized, efficient and detail-oriented
- Proven self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
- Willing to take initiative
- Excellent at communicating
- A team player
- Capable of always giving 110%
- Able to work independently or in a group setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and other basic Internet tools
- Interested in the start-up food scene in Brooklyn


Professional Qualifications Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • Prior Experience in Community Development or Events-Based Role
