Apricot Lane Farms is located 40 miles north of Los Angeles and 20 miles east of Ventura in Moorpark, CA. Our team has been charged with the mission of creating a well-balanced ecosystem and rich soils that produce nutrient-dense foods while treating the environment and the animals with respect.

Our farm residents include pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, guinea hens, horses, highland cattle, and one brown swiss dairy cow named “Maggie.” Our land consists of Biodynamic Certified avocado and lemon orchards, a vegetable garden, pastures, and over 75 varieties of stone fruit.

Apricot Lane Farms is a 210-acre Organic and Biodynamic Farm in Moorpark, CA that will be opening a restaurant in Spring 2018.

We are looking for an organized and supportive person to assist our Recipe Development Chef on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:15AM – 4PM.  

Job Duties Include:

• Recording recipes as they are created
• Tracks all recipe changes
• Enter recipes and changes into our online system
• Measures and prepares ingredients for the chef
• Labels all products
• Performs research, when needed
• Supports the chef with anything she may need to perform her duties
• Cleaning and dishwashing
• Other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate must have a supportive personality that does not need to lead and enjoys helping others succeed.  A self-motivated, team-player who loves to organize things and keep things tidy is a MUST.

Position will start August 16th and the pay is $15/hour.
