Farmer Jim Adams Farms

  • Date Posted June 27, 2017
  • Location Atlanta, GA
  • Category Agriculture
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description

Jim Adams is a business model forged by a unique combination of successful multi generational family farming and proven public policy innovation. Our cutting edge approach solves an important equation; how to grow high quality, organic produce on a commercial scale in an urban setting.

We will create a fully contained, year round growing environment able to produce a broad spectrum of crops at high volume. The goal is a regional hub with the farm at the nucleus, taking advantage of a strategic, in-town location to co-locate with complementary businesses and reach a large customer base.

Jim Adams will use low-cost green houses built over raised beds, called Grow Houses, to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers on urban lots. We will generate, test and maintain our own soil, and grow from a slate of crops that carves out an unmatched competitive advantage.

Three important principles create the foundation for Jim Adams Farms: Financial viability, environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
