We’re ready to take the teapigs brand to the next level in the US and need a bright, tech-savvy, super social marketing assistant, ready to hit the ground running and ramp up teapigs’ ecommerce and consumer marketing activities in the US. You’ll need bags of energy and enthusiasm.


in detail

You'll be reporting in to the General Manager of teapigs US (with whom you will be working daily with from our offices in Brooklyn) and Head of Global Ecommerce and Marketing (based in the UK). You’ll be responsible for implementing all aspects of the teapigs global and US marketing plans.

 

Marketing activities

Social media

- Day to day management of teapigs US social media channels: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

- Ensuring Global Marketing messages are communicated across teapigs US social media channels, adapting UK materials to the US market and creating US-specific content

- Engaging with teapigs community on social media

- Developing a network of influencers and like-minded brands through social media

- Finding new ways of growing the teapigs US social community including content generation, brand partnerships and competitions

PR

- Developing a network of media, blogger, vloggers and influencers that speak to teapigs key audience groups

- Adapting UK consumer press releases to US market, ensuring global messages are communicated to US media, bloggers and vloggers

- Writing US specific consumer press releases

Product placement/Partnership

- Implementing teapigs product placement/partnership plan - setting up a calendar of product placement and partnership opportunities, working to a set budget and adhering to it.

- Finding relevant partners for teapigs marketing activities and managing all aspects of these activities - getting product and materials produced and sent out, analyzing and reporting on results

Events

- Responsible for the day to day management of all consumer events - researching new events, booking event, ensuring all product is delivered to the event on time, attending the shows working towards an event sales target and analysing success of the show

- Working with the wholesale sales team to plan and execute trade shows across the country. 

Wholesale Marketing Activities

- Work closely with sales team to create materials, email marketing materials and general outreach to drive wholesale sales. 
 
- Create US specific advertising materials to for wholesale customers and distributors.

- Good analytical skills and commercial awareness - you can see what's working and you'll be ever suggesting new ways to drive sales and new customers to teapigs.com

- Solid understanding of how social media works

- Excellent communication skills - you'll need to keep teapigs' tone of voice consistent across all our communication channels

- Great networking skills - you'll need to make friends with media, bloggers, vloggers and social media influencers

- Excellent organizational skills to handle a busy, varied, growing role

- A good eye for detail and design - we're a quality tea brand after all

- proficiency in excel (required), outlook, photoshop and a little web development experience would be great. MailChimp experience is preferred, but any email marketing software experience is suitable.

salary: Competitive - depending on experience. Plus annual bonus, all the free tea you can drink, benefits, holiday, 401k and more!
