Company description Crimson & Clover Farm is a community based farm located on the beautiful Northampton Community Farm in Florence, Massachusetts.  We grow vegetables, fruits and flowers for a Community Supported Agriculture Program, farm store and for local farmers markets.  We strive to have the farm be a healthy, wholesome and productive place to work.  Above all we see this is a place where customers, community members and employees can engage with farming in a way that builds understanding and appreciation for sustainably grown food. Job description Crimson & Clover Farm is a diverse mixed vegetable farm based at the Northampton Community Farm in Florence, MA. In 2018 we will produce vegetables on about 18 acres for 450 CSA members, our on farm store and one weekly farmers markets.

 At Crimson & Clover Farm we offer a collaborative work environment that encourages input from employees in making our farm more productive, efficient, and fun. While this is not an apprenticeship or teaching position there is a lot of learning that happens on a daily basis and we are very open to sharing all of our knowledge of running a business and growing vegetables. 

We are seeking a full time CSA and Farm Store Manager.  This is a great position for a person who loves food, cooking, talking to customers, and presenting vegetables in a beautiful display.  This is very much a ‘foodie’ and ‘people person’ position!  In addition to these skills and interests applicants should have ability to manage a cash drawer, keep inventory, and regularly lift 50 pound bins of vegetables.


We are looking for people who are positive, hard working, who easily takes on responsibilities. The ideal candidate has some experience in retail or market settings (vegetable or otherwise). We offer a 5 day work-week; crew members are expected to work 45 hours/week during the main season and to be flexible at times when additional hours are needed. We strive to maintain a sane and balanced work schedule but there are times that we work a little later than usual or start a little earlier to get through certain projects.

 The positions run from mid April through Thanksgiving. This is an hourly paid position. We start all employees at $11/hour. All of our employees also get lots of vegetables from the farm.
