Assistant Grower, Ararat Farms.

Ararat Farms is seeking an Assistant Grower for the 2018 season. Ararat Farms is an organic farm located in Lincolnville, Maine. The Farm grows a variety of different fruits and vegetables for restaurants and stores located in midcoast Maine and also sells at a weekly farmers market. The assistant grower will work closely with the manager in all aspects of production. This includes seeding, transplanting, cultivation, harvest and packing of vegetables. In addition to soil grown vegetables, Ararat Farms also grows a handful of different greens hydroponically. One year of farming experience is preferred. Experience with carpentry, tractors, and general maintenance is a plus. This position offers competitive pay and housing may be available for the right candidate.
