Turtle Rock Farm is MOFGA certified organic kitchen and farm producing value added products for the year round local pantry. Our kitchen is primarily a craft cannery preserving mostly with local fruits and vegetables and some local, organic meats.
Responsibilities of the overall operations of the Turtle Rock kitchen includes prep of organic fruits and vegetables, packing and filling jars, canning, stocking finished product and overseeing kitchen sanitation and maintenance. Our kitchen manager hires staff, purchases food and stock, and makes sure everyone is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety. Some certification required upon joining team including but not limited to HACCP team training.
this position is PAID: salaried, less than 50k
