We have been producing honey and providing farms with pollination services for over 20 years. Are you a diligent and hard worker? Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you an early riser and like being a part of a close-knit team? Boston Honey Company is looking for workers just like you to join our team of beekeepers for a full-time position. No experience needed.

The Beekeeper Assistant is responsible in helping our experienced beekeepers with work in the beeyard managing bee colonies. You must be comfortable with stinging insects. You’ll spend many hours in the field with the team, lifting boxes of bees (50-60lbs) regularly, as well as at the facilities, working on the various needs of equipment. From painting bee boxes, to building hives, cleaning yards, and harvesting honey, you will be trained to be a part of every aspect of the operation. The Beekeeper Assistant MUST be able to travel with the team to our operations outside of the state for a period of 4-5 months (Housing is provided outside of MA only).


Qualifications: Applicants should be comfortable with physical labor in various weather conditions, able to lift up to 50-60 lbs repeatedly, must be comfortable with stinging insects, and willing to work and be a part of a team. Energetic, resilient, self-motivated, punctual, and eager to learn people are a great fit with our team. You must have a clean driver’s license. Capability to use hand/power tools is a plus.


HOURS: Hours and schedules can range based on the time of season. Pollination season requires hours into late night/early morning. During the season we work weekends and around weather when needed.


PAY: Starting pay is $ 12.00 per Hr with pay raises after becoming more experienced. We are looking to train the right people to become long term assets with our company.
