Hobo Cheese Company is located just outside of Atlanta, GA. Established in 2017, we are small artisanal creamery, producing hand-crafted cow’s milk cheeses.  

Hobo Cheese Co. is looking for a farmers market sales person! We are in need of part-time help at weekend markets in and around the Atlanta area. We would love to find someone who shares our enthusiasm for good food and an interest in sharing our cheeses with the local market.

Job Summary:

• Pick up supplies / inventory before the market(s)
• Set up market booth with tent, tables, samples, etc… on time!
• Educate customers on our company and our cheeses.
• Demonstrate accurate $$ handling and inventory management, including using “square”, and updating both (money and inventory) at the end of each market.
• Maintain a smile while sharing our cheeses with market guests!
• Drop off supplies / remaining inventory at the end of the market day.

• This is customer-facing role, so being friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable engaging with customers is absolutely necessary!
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. (tents, tables, coolers, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license and a car to get you where you need to go.
• The ability to operate the “Square” app. and keep accurate count of a cash box.
• Must LOVE cheese!
• Knowing your way around a farmer’s market, knowledge of the local food system, and any knowledge of cheese is a plus!

• $12.00+ per hour .... based on performance.
