Doux South is a rapidly growing producer of southern pickled vegetables in Atlanta.  Started by Atlanta chef Nick Melvin and Mark Hungarland in 2013, Doux South's growth can be attributed to it's unique all-natural product line featuring wonderful brines and crunchy pickles.  We're fanatics about quality, so we've kept all production in-house.  Our production kitchen is located in Atlanta's food and beverage mecca, the Lee & White district on the southwest side.
Job description

Doux South is a rapidly growing producer of great tasting pickles located in the West End neighborhood of Atlanta. We are looking to expand our team and are seeking the right person to manage and execute those steps that come after our hard-working production crew has produced our great pickles, ensuring that they make it to our customers in great shape. Once product exits our kitchen, it still needs to be labeled, packaged, organized, and ultimately prepared to leave our facility before making it into our customers hands. The right individual will possess strong attention to detail, a passion for local, hand-made foods, an ability to work independently, and a willingness to grow as Doux South continues to reach more and more pickle lovers nationwide.

This position is part-time with the opportunity to become full-time as our growth continues.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Labeling jars, casing and sealing, stacking on pallets, and moving into inventory rotation
  • Preparing outgoing orders for distributor pick-up
  • Preparing outgoing orders for shipping
  • Managing Amazon inventory and keeping inventory at par level
  • Preparing samples for potential customers
  • Assist Production Team in labeling and organizing product in cooler
  • Delivering product to local customers
  • Assist Operations Manager in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
  • Complete regular inventory of packaging and similar products

Requirements:
  • 25-30 hours/week; Monday - Friday
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be comfortable moving pallets with a pallet jack
