Job description

We are seeking a creative, driven individual to work as a Community Manager for The Food Loft. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Executing and continually refining a marketing and sales strategy in conjunction with the CEO to identify and target new tenants in the Boston food landscape

  • Designing and executing recurring events and strategic development opportunities for both existing tenants and/or the wider Boston food community

  • Identifying and maintaining various national partnerships with strategic organizations involved in the larger food community

  • Conducting regular in-office meetings with potential tenants to tour the space and demonstrate our value for new clients

  • Navigating and maintaining existing and new tenant relationship/onboarding

  • Overseeing daily operations of the office space

  • Representing TFL at food-specific networking events, conferences, and offsite events

  • Overseeing social media for the Food Loft and working with the CEO to develop and execute a content marketing strategy across our website and social platforms

  • Developing value-added content for tenants, including office hours, mentorship, member benefits, and more

  • Establishing relationships with value-added partners to offer professional discounts and benefits to Food Loft tenants

  • Supervising and managing up to three interns per semester


The right candidate should have a strong interest in food and an understanding of the greater Boston food scene and its key players. Ideally, the candidate will also have some experience in marketing, community development, and/or business development.
