Company description Mossy Stone Farms is an organic, "no-till" market garden in the northern Catskills of New York state. We practice regenerative agricultural methods and refuse to use any herbicides, fungicides or harmful pesticides that have contributed to the destruction of the natural world.

We are also the location for the Northern Catskills Permaculture Community Hub, a future permacultural and aquacultural  educational and demonstration site. Job description We are looking for a live-in caretaker and farm hand to help us during harvest and market days. Room and board will be provided as well as a profit sharing compensation (to be determined based on experience and hours worked), and of course all the veggies and eggs one could stand to eat!

Your duties would include the usual for a farm: tending chickens, vegetable gardens, harvest days (Wednesday and Friday), and attending farmer's markets on Saturday and/ or Sunday.
