Job description The Install Technician  is someone who is good with their hands and has experience in the landscape construction industry, particularly with plumbing/irrigation and hardscaping. We’re looking for a problem solver; a critical thinker; a team player; someone who is motivated by the ethics behind permaculture and ecological design.  Permaculture Installation Technician, beginning at $18/hr, part-time 3-5 days per week, depending on the season. Ideal start date June 2018.

The role of the Installation Technician is to execute the technical aspects of rainwater harvesting and landscape construction elements for all installs, and provide manual labor needed to move jobs forward. The Installation Technician reports directly to the Crew Foreman, and works closely with the Installation Director,  Project Manager and Design Lead to make sure that the vision is executed with care and precision.

Additional Skills Desired
    • Able to drive a 16’ box truck and/or trailer
    • Clean driving record and current driving license
    • Must get along well with others and value non-violent methods of communication and interaction
    • Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
    • Permaculture Design Certification a plus, but not required.
    • High School diploma
    • Criminal background check
