Job Description General Overview :: About the position


The Customer Service & Sales Associate primary focus is to provide exceptional customer service and sales account support for Bella Cucina wholesale, retail, online and in store customer experiences. 

Job Purpose

  • Maximize sales growth and profitability through creative sales skills and marketing techniques, customer service and teamwork.
  • Oversee all activities affecting the customer service, sales and marketing of wholesale, retail and online business.

 

Customer Service and Sales

  • Focus on promoting sales and building relationships to existing and new customers.
  • Model and reinforce customer service standards, maintaining company service philosophy and culture through leadership style.
  • Take care of our customers by listening to their needs, taking orders with accuracy, and to assist them in a timely manner.
  • Execute the sales process – manage the sales process from product education to order fulfillment to customer satisfaction to service resolution.
  • Account Management –maintain territory customer relationships, working towards establishing multiple sales opportunities throughout the year.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain an ongoing dialog with the buyers regarding customer feedback, and product selection and promotions
  • Have a working knowledge of all products and uses.
  • Keep current on all product information, website and any advertisement or promotions and communicate to entire staff, wholesale and retail

Personnel

  • Address all personnel issues using effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Collaborate on a regular bases with team members from all channels to ensure marketing is appropriate and supporting that part of the business
  • Possess a working knowledge of associate benefits

Financial/Operations

  • Work with Operations Coordinator on setting and maintaining sales and service goals and standard daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
  • Possess a working knowledge of QuickBooks, and Excel for wholesale
  • Create, generate and keep up with all financial reports that are directly related to sales and marketing results
  • Help find new systems and tools for sales and marketing tasks.

Leadership/Communication

  • Communicate with upper management on a regular basis
  • Possess the ability to work independently, be a problem solver, resourceful, very organized, and have attention to detail.
  • Present enthusiasm toward the job and company, a positive attitude, and an ability to effectively communicate and problem solve
  • Have a strong, positive personal presence.
