Company description Baked Cheese Haus is a Wisconsin artisanal cheesemaker that specializes in Alpine-style Raclette.  Besides making cheese in Wisconsin, we operate Raclette serving booths in Chicago and New York City year-round, and participate in food festivals, pop-ups and holiday markets in various other cities.  We have high standards and value our craft as cheesemakers, and seek out other food artisans to partner for our menu - bakeries, charcuteries, picklers, etc. Job description The Atlanta Christkindlmarket at Atlantic Station hosts a festive, winter wonderland of holiday shops and eateries in the park for roughly four weeks, December 30-December 23.  We own and operate one of the most bustling and celebrated booths - an Alpine-style Raclette chalet.  We serve a simple yet delicious menu of the most wintry comfort foods - melted Raclette heated and scraped off the wheel onto toasted baguettes with various accoutrements - charcuterie, sausages, picklings.  

To staff the booth, we are looking for numerous roles, from full time manager(s) to lead the team, order supplies, inventory and staffing.  Also looking for day to day staff to help full or part time to operate the booth, serving customers, food prep, point of sale people.  There is very minimal prep work - the raclette is made to order and scraped for each customer as they wait and watch the melted cheese avalanche.  The booth is open daily, 11am-9pm, and sees large crowds day in and day out, but especially on weekends.

Few things of note - 

-Besides hourly wage, tips are plentiful

-Looking for fun, outgoing individuals that enjoy a crowd.  Festival type atmosphere, so we want to create fun and enthusiasm for the crowd.

-Staff must be comfortable working in the cold.  The booths are solid shelters, but can get cold as temps drop in December

-Staff must be able to handle large, bustling crowds with long lines of eager customers

- Some medium-heavy lifting - 12lb cheese wheels, cases of water, gallons of cider

- Booth is a tight space with little room to spare

-Food Safety Permit required.  We can help obtain the certificate for those not certified. Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $20.00 Application instructions
